This is a private reference, not a government agency, sheriff, jail, corrections department, private investigation firm, or consumer reporting agency. Neither this site nor its advertising partners offers a service for credit, employment, insurance, tenant screening, or another decision governed by the Fair Credit Reporting Act.
Nature of This Resource
The site organizes links and explanatory material for Ionia County jail release records, Michigan offender and supervision systems, courts, facilities, and federal locators. It stores no official jail, prison, or court record. It cannot confirm custody, release a person, file a request, alter a record, or act for a government office. Outside search services may also be linked or embedded.
Rules for Acceptable Use
Visitors must use the service lawfully and without harming other people or the service itself.
- Do not violate a law or another person’s rights.
- Do not stalk, harass, threaten, deceive, or intimidate anyone.
- Do not use information for a credit, employment, housing, insurance, or similar eligibility decision.
- Do not attempt access to restricted accounts, servers, or data.
- Do not operate bots, scrapers, or automated extraction tools.
- Do not overload, damage, or disrupt the site for other visitors.
No Consumer Reports
This site is not a consumer reporting agency under the FCRA. It does not prepare background checks, credit reports, or consumer reports, and neither it nor its ad partners provides a screening service. A user agrees not to rely on the site or a linked result for hiring or firing, tenant or housing screening, lending, insurance pricing, licensing, permits, government-program eligibility, or another FCRA-covered purpose.
Links and Partner Services
Outbound links may lead to Ionia County, MDOC, courts, statutes, VINE, BOP, ICE, legal resources, or outside search companies. A link is provided for convenience and is not an endorsement. This site does not control a destination’s content, security, data practices, fees, terms, availability, or results. Visitors should read the destination’s policies before submitting information or paying.
Service Provided As Is
The site and its contents are provided “as is” and “as available.” No warranty is made that information is complete, current, or accurate; that access will be continuous; that every defect or security weakness will be absent; or that a partner search will return every relevant result. Custody and public records change often, and nothing here is an official statement from the Sheriff, MDOC, a court, or another agency.
Limits on Liability
To the fullest extent Michigan law permits, the site, its operators, and its service partners are not liable for direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive loss arising from access, inability to access, reliance on content, a linked service, or use that violates these terms. A visitor remains responsible for confirming information at its official source.
User Indemnification Duty
A user agrees to defend, indemnify, and hold the site, its operators, and service partners harmless from claims, losses, liabilities, costs, and reasonable legal fees caused by that user’s misuse, violation of these terms, or infringement of another person’s rights.
Ownership of Site Materials
Original text, graphics, logos, design elements, and code belong to Ionia County Released Inmates or its content and technology partners. Except for ordinary personal viewing and uses allowed by law, materials may not be copied, distributed, sold, republished, modified, or used to create another service without written permission.
Changes to These Terms
These terms may be revised at any time to reflect service or legal changes. A revised version becomes effective when posted. Continued use after posting means the visitor accepts the new version.
Access May Be Ended
Access may be limited, suspended, or revoked at any time, with or without notice, when needed to protect the service, its users, or another party, or for any other lawful reason.
Michigan Law Applies
These terms are governed by Michigan law, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute that may lawfully be assigned by these terms must be brought in a court with proper jurisdiction in Michigan.
Remaining Terms Stay Effective
If a court finds one provision invalid or unenforceable, it will be narrowed only as much as needed. Every other provision remains in effect.
Questions About These Terms
Questions about these terms may be routed through the Contacts page. That contact route is for site matters and cannot answer official custody or records questions.
